About EBAS

EBAS was established in 2013 to address the post-licensure testing needs of regulated professions concerning ethical and/or boundary issues.

EBAS administers and scores examinations and reports scores to regulatory agencies for their use.  The essay examination gives the agencies a tool to assess the examinee’s understanding of ethical/boundary issues as they apply to their professional workplace environment.

These agencies, at their discretion, use the EBAS essay examination scores in their evaluation of practitioners for disciplinary action, revocation/suspension, and/or license lapse.
